Capture the Flag is a multiplayer, 3G network. based game. Game play requires Bluetooth to be On, Wifi Off, and have a good GPS signal which generally requires a person to be outdoors. In a two person game the second player also needs to be a team leader. Naturally, bases need to be established some distance apart to prevent instant capturing of each others flags. Updated for modern game play, Situwares version reports players and team asset locations, in real-time, on an aerial view map. Players are resourced with virtual assets such as weapons, medical kits and flags. Games and teams are established ad hoc, flags are placed as the teams see fit. Players are monitored using the iPhones GPS, accelerometers, compass and their interaction with the touch display. Displayed information is reinforced with game generated sound and vibration, augmenting the players sense of the world.
